Peterson’s two goals pace Bishop Guertin

Senior center Ben Peterson scored twice to lead the Bishop Guertin boys’ hockey team to a 7-3 triumph over Exeter at Skate 3 Arena in Tyngsborough, Mass., on Wednesday night.

Aaron Pratt and Liam Nye each had a goal and two assists for the Cardinals, who are 3-0 in Division I and 4-2 overall. Dom Calandra, Ben Young and Mike Schaff also scored for BG, which led 4-0 after one period.

Ben Baldasaro, Evan Vadeboncoeur and Eddie Towlson scored for Exeter (1-3). BG goalie Colin freitas made 10 saves.

Londonderry 10, Central/ West 1: In Hooksett, forward Patrick Murphy netted a hat trick as the Lancers improved to 3-1 in Division I. Anthony Federico and Jared Tuccolo added two goals each for Londonderry, and Patrick McKinnon, Nicholas Pitarys and Kyle Hamilton scored a goal apiece.

Sam Hebert scored on a breakaway for Central/West (0-4).

Lebanon/Stevens 9, Timberlane 3: In Lebanon, Nate Chickering and Andrew Duany each scored twice to lead Lebanon/Stevens (3-2). Mason Adams, Brian Daly, Aaron Damren (short-handed), Ian Garland and Trey Chickering also scored for Lebanon/Stevens. Timberlane received a goal and an assist from Jake Peckman.

Windham 7, Portsmouth/ Newmarket 1: In Dover, Jake Aleksa and Tyler Toohey both scored twice for Windham (5-0). Nolan Cunningham, Robert DiCicco and Davin Granahan also scored for the Jaguars. Portsmouth/ Newmarket fell to 1-3.

Pembroke/Campbell 4, Hollis-Brookline/Derryfield 2:

In Concord, Arpan Kakadia scored twice and Nate Lamontagne collected a goal and an assist to lead the Spartans (1-2). Sophomores Aidan Chretien and Nick Dapolito scored for the Warriors (1-3).

Keene 3, Dover 3: In Dover, Tim Greenwood scored twice while Ben Brown and Brian Langevin each tallied a goal for Keene (2-1-1). Myles Ditkoff made 32 saves for the Blackbirds. Dover moved to 3-1-1.

Bow 4, Merrimack 0: In Concord, Ryan Tobeler scored all four goals over the final two periods to lead Bow to victory. The senior’s first goal marked the 100th point of his high school career. Nate Carrier earned the shutout in goal. Merrimack fell to 0-3.

Goffstown 10, Spaulding 4: In Rochester, Max Lajeunesse and Sebastian Beal both had two goals and two assists for Goffstown (4-1). Noah Charron had two goals and and assist and Theo Milanes added three assists for the Grizzlies. Spaulding (0-4) received goals from four players and 39 saves from Brenden Stanley.

Kennett 5, Kingswood 2: In Conway, the Eagles received two goals from Mackenzie Murphy (one assist) and a goal and two assists from Michael Seavy to run their record to 4-0 in Division III.

Girls’ hockey

Exeter 10, Kingswood 0: In Exeter, junior Carissa Towlson scored five goals, including the 100th of her career, and added two assists for the Blue Hawks (4-0). Ashley Keaveney had a goal and three assists, Dakota Ariel a goal and two assists, and sophomore Megan Olszewski scored her first career goal for Exeter. Nikki Cayon made 24 saves for Kingswood of Wolfeboro (1-4).

Boys’ basketball

Oyster River 53, St. Thomas 39: In Durham, Max Lewis tossed in a team-high 18 points as Oyster River improved its Division II record to 2-0. Joe Morrell added 17 for the Bobcats. Andrew Cavanaugh led Division III St. Thomas (1-3) with 22.

Bedford 40, Merrimack 34:

In Merrimack, Max Chartier recorded a team-high 14 points and Nolan Anderson added 10 more for the Bulldogs (1-2). Ian Cummings scored a game-high 15 points for Merrimack (0-2).

White Mountains 57, Littleton 53: In Whitefield, Zeke Pribbernow tossed in a team-high 16 points and Jack Curtis added 10 to propel Division III White Mountains (2-2). Jason Bramer scored a game-high 18 for Division IV Littleton (3-2).

Girls’ basketball

Pelham 43, Windham 40:

In Windham, Pelham senior captain Cheyenne Lee drained the game-winning 3-pointer with seconds remaining. She finished with 11 points. Danielle Sirois logged a team-high 19 points for the Pythons (51). Kaleigh Walsh recorded a game-high 20 points for Windham (4-1) while teammate Ali Schiebel added 10 points.

Inter-Lakes 72, Somersworth 22: In Somersworth, Taylor Ambrose scored 20 points and Julia Gintof and and Jess Brown each finished with 15 to lead the Lakers (51). Somersworth dropped to 0-3 in Division III.
