Line Cook - Hart‘s Restaurant Inc, 233 Daniel Webster Hwy, Meredith, NH 03253; Ph: 603-279-6212; Job Location: 233 Daniel Webster Hwy, Meredith, NH; Job Opportunity: 7 Temporary Full-time Position Available (7/20/17 - 12/31/17); Cook dishes such as soups, meats, vegetables, or desserts in restaurants. Inspect & clean food preparation areas, equipment, work surfaces, serving areas & occasionally wash pots, pans, & dishes to ensure safe & sanitary practices. Ensure food is stored & cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills & roasters. Ensure freshness of food & ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old & new items & rotating stock. Season food according to recipes. Weigh, measure & mix ingredients according to recipes using various kitchen utensils & equipment. Portion, arrange & garnish food. Test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently. Wash, peel, cut & seed fruits & vegetables & prepare them for consumption; 6-months of exp. as a cook or line cook. Must be able to work all shifts including weekends & holidays; 35 hrs per wk. Open 7-days, including weekends & holidays. Shift schedule between 6am-9pm. Shift schedules & days off vary. OT as needed only; Workers will be paid no less than $12.72 per hr; OT: $19.08 per hr. Paid wkly. Will use single workweek as standard for computing wages due; Optional local apartment housing w/rental fee may be available. Cost of housing is $105 weekly, paid through payroll deduction; Employer will make all deductions from workers paycheck required by law & optional local apartment housing deductions (if applicable); Benefits: Discounted meals & gift shop items for employees; Transportation & subsistence to the place of employment: If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will arrange & pay directly for trans-portation & subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker‘s reasonable costs of return transportation & subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment w/another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker‘s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical & reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of $12.09 per day during travel to a max. of $51 per day w/receipts; Will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, & equipment required to perform the job; Daily Transportation: N/A; Send Resumes to:
