This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Transfer Station and oversight of 1 FT and 4 PT employees and assists the public in disposal of materials, including separation and recycling materials, and supervises the collection and storage of useable, recyclable solid waste, and investigates markets and methods for their disposal.Attendance at some night meetings is required.
Applicants should haveat least 5 years of experience in solid waste disposal operations supplemented by some technical training, at least two years of supervisory experience, and certification from the State of New Hampshire as Solid Waste Facility Operator, Level III. Salary commensurate with experience, excellent benefit package.

Must be at least 21 years old with an Associates Degree in related field -or-a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 7 years parenting experience & be at least 30 years old, & be able to STAY AWAKE during working hrs. Hours are from 11:00 pm to 9:00 am - 3 nights per week (approximately 30 hours).
