Mechanical Engineer II (Lebanon, New Hampshire) Design & manufacture custom ink jet systems. Provide mechanical engg dir to new product dvlpmnt. Analyze, evaluate, & plan methods of approach & organize means to achieve solution of inkjet design & jetting operability issues. Contribute to knowl capture by providing historical & commercial context to improve understanding of new technical probs. Use custom design tools to improve FDMX‘s inkjet tech platform thru modeling & analysis. Coordinate efforts of tech‘l supp staff re: phases of projects. Est & define theoretical bases & principles that should apply & estimate time, expenses, & manpower needed to complete design projects. Id equip, materials, & supplies reqd fr completion & implementation of tech‘l projects. Provide core tech supp fr projects & rec corrections in tech‘l analysis & design to ensure completion. Work ac Ops, Tech‘l Supp, & Product Dvlpmnt groups, & w/ outside partners. Engage w/ custom supply base to adv tech of company‘s component designs. Reqts: Master‘s or equiv in Engg (any), Materials Sci, Mechanical Engg or reltd, & 2 yrs exp in position offered or reltd, incl 2 yrs exp w/ stress analysis & dynamic simulation, Interacting w/ customers to extract product reqts & engaging in design reviews, Packaging industry related to digital printing. Qualified applicant must have knowl of Fluid Mechanics & Computational Fluid Dynamics w/ analyses, & must have passed Fundamentals of Engineering exam or have EIT certification.
