LECTURER OF ECONOMICS
Principles of Macroeconomics and Macro Related Electives

Will teach at least two large undergraduate sections of Principles of Macroeconomics each semester and two additional undergraduate courses, in macro-related electives such as Money and Banking and the Economics of Innovation, or Economics and Public Policy, as needed by the department. Use of online support material for assignments, reviews, and quizzes. Handle all office hours personally. Engage in professional and service activities such as curricular/program development, direction of undergraduate theses or independent study projects and attending University events; and stay current in the field through interactions with other scholars and with businesses and/or government such as through attending or presenting at professional conferences, delivering guest lectures and seminars, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

Ph.D in economics or related field and one year of academic teaching experience. Experience must include teaching undergraduate courses in macro-economics and either research or teaching in innovation or public policy.

Program and Evaluation

Provide statewide leadership, support and technical assistance for Cooperative Extension‘s program development and evaluation efforts, including designing and implementing evaluations for a variety of programmatic contexts. Ph.D. in Program Evaluation, Evaluation Studies, Evaluation Measurement & Research or related field, & 2yrs of relevant exp or Master‘s degree in above areas of study & 5 yrs of relevant experience may be accepted.
