Sealed proposals for the 2017 Mt. Carberry Leachate Sewer Improvements will be received at the offices of the Androscoggin Valley Regional Refuse Disposal District‘s Office (”The Owner“), 15 Mount Forist Street, Berlin, New Hampshire 03570 until Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Bidder‘s sealed envelope must be plainly labeled ”AVRRDD 2017 Mt. Carberry Leachate Sewer Improvements“. Bids received after the specified time will not be accepted.
The leachate improvements project will replace aging leachate sewer infrastructure, consolidate leachate piping, and provide for future landfill expansions‘ leachate collection. In accordance with RSA 485-C:21 III, the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (DES) received a request for a Public Hearing for the proposed large groundwater withdrawal at the Aquarion Water Supply (Well 7) property located off Little River Road in Hampton, New Hampshire.
This law requires that upon receiving such a request from a municipality or supplier of water within the potential impact area of a proposed large groundwater withdrawal, DES shall conduct a Public Hearing within 30 days of the request. The municipality and suppliers of water within the potential impact area of the proposed large groundwater withdrawal may submit comments to DES relative to the proposed withdrawal within 45 days after the Public Hearing.
A Public Hearing will be held at the town of Hampton‘s Town Offices located at 100 Winnacunnet Road in Hampton, New Hampshire on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 7:00 P.M.
