The Town of Auburn is seeking a full-time Finance Assistant. General Duties: The position is responsible for working under the supervision of the Town‘s Finance Director to process & coordinate payroll, accounts payable and other financial functions of the Town, serve as the Town‘s Welfare Officer, provide back-up support to the Land Use Administrator in the area of assessing, assists the public concerning assessing and general inquiries; prepares reports, and perform basic secretarial duties.

Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of secretarial practices and procedures, basic accounting principles & computer skills, strong customer service orientation with good com-munication skills, detail-oriented & minimum of two years bookkeeping experience, preferable in municipal setting.
